PoC-ID Presentation at Horizon 2020 Event “Successful R&I in Europe”, Düsseldorf, Germany, 15-16 Mar’18,

“Successful R&I in Europe: 9th European Networking Event” on 15 and 16 March 2018 at Van der Valk Airporthotel Düsseldorf, Germany

The event focusses on networking for projects in Horizon 2020, the European funding programme for research and innovation with a 30 billion Euro budget for the next three years. The opening address will be held by Normunds Popens, European Commission, after a welcome speech by Isabel Pfeiffer-Poensgen, Minister of Culture and Science of North Rhine-Westphalia.
About 300 participants from more than 20 countries are expected to attend the event, which addresses universities, research institutes and enterprises and encourages them to become involved in established and new networks for Horizon 2020.

The networking event will be structured in parallel workshop sessions focusing on six topics:

  • Information and Communication Technologies (ICT)
  • Energy
  • Nanotechnologies, Materials and Manufacturing (NMM)
  • Sustainable Economy
  • Life Sciences
  • Transport
